Terms and Conditions for MOSAEIC Hypnosis

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between MOSAEIC Systems, LLC DBA MOSAEIC Hypnosis (hereinafter referred to as "MOSAEIC Hypnosis," "we," "us," or "our") and you, the client (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "the client"). By engaging in hypnotherapy services provided by MOSAEIC Hypnosis, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

2. Practitioners & Approach

MOSAEIC Hypnosis is led by Mani Saint-Victor, MD, CH, with Charlice Hurst, PhD as co-founder and business partner.Our hypnotherapy practice incorporates Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Coherence Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Parts Work, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) elements, and other evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address concerns such as:

Anxiety, depression, stress managementInsomnia and sleep disturbancesCompulsive behaviors, anger management,Weight loss and eating behaviorsTrauma recoveryPain managementPerformance enhancementSmoking cessationSexual dysfunction

Your treatment plan will be tailored to your individual needs, and we are committed to guiding you through an effective and empowering process.

3. Online Therapy & Telehealth Services

If you opt for online hypnotherapy sessions via Zoom or Skype, you agree to:

Ensure your device is fully charged or plugged in before the sessionHave the required app installed and tested before the session beginsUse headphones and a microphone for optimal sound qualityEliminate potential distractions (e.g., inform household members, silence notifications)Be in a private, quiet space to maintain confidentiality

Sessions are expected to start on time, and late arrivals may result in a shortened session.

4. Confidentiality & Privacy

Your privacy is paramount. All sessions are strictly confidential, with the following exceptions:

Professional Supervision: As per standard practice, your case may be discussed with a professional supervisor for training and quality assurance, with your identity anonymized.Legal & Ethical Obligations: We are required to break confidentiality if:There is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or othersYou disclose involvement in a criminal act, abuse, or unreported child abuse (past or present), which must be reported to the relevant authoritiesLaw Enforcement Requests: Information may be disclosed if required by law or a court-issued warrant

All client records, including session notes and audio recordings, are stored securely and will not be shared without your explicit written consent.

5. Sessions & Fees

Standard sessions last approximately 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed uponSmoking cessation sessions last approximately 2 hours with an optional follow-upFees must be paid in advance via debit/credit card, PayPal, or other approved methodsYour first session will be scheduled upon mutual agreement after the initial consultationSmoking cessation sessions require full prepayment and may only be rescheduled once within a 12-month period

If you arrive late, the session will proceed but will still end at the originally scheduled time.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

24-hour notice is required for cancellations or reschedulingLate cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) may be charged in full unless an emergency is demonstratedSmoking cessation prepayments are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once within the designated period

We recognize that unforeseen circumstances occur and will evaluate cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis.

7. Early Termination of Therapy

You may terminate therapy at any time, but the following policies apply:

If termination occurs less than 24 hours before a session, the session fee is still dueIf termination occurs during a session, that session remains payableWe reserve the right to terminate therapy immediately in cases of:Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviorBreach of confidentialityEthical or professional conflicts

In some cases, we may recommend a referral to another therapist if we believe a different approach would better serve your needs.Important Note: Therapy can be challenging, especially in the early stages. If you experience discomfort or feel therapy is not helping, we encourage you to discuss these concerns before discontinuing.

8. Commitment to Therapy Process

If we agree on a structured program with weekly sessions transitioning to reduced frequency, we expect you to honor that commitment unless otherwise reviewed. Therapy progress is a collaborative effort, and continuity is key to achieving results.

9. Boundaries & Professional Relationship

The therapist-client relationship is strictly professional and limited to scheduled sessionsOutside contact will be limited to scheduling-related communicationIn public encounters, we will acknowledge you discreetly and will not identify the nature of our relationship.

10. Review & Acceptance of Terms

By engaging in therapy with MOSAEIC Hypnosis, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any concerns or require modifications, please discuss them before your first session.
